Default Guildwars Two: Detailed Post

I know many suggestions have been made in a GW two but heres a long post that can cover some areas.

1. The game will be based on the same battle system with 8 skills and such. That much wont be changed.

2. Have the Z axis and possibly support for dx10 enabled.

3. Have both Arena Net teams merge for the creation of the first chapter in the GW Two series. This way they will have all the man power needed for the games creation and then they can divide into two teams afterwards with one team working on an expansion (To be covered later) in between chapters and one team working on the chapters. Of course we could have some swapping around and such.

4. There are alot of new free MMO's coming out with alot of stuff that the guildwars community has requested but not added. Of course most stuff like life professions wouldn't really suit Guildwars but stuff like Auction houses, Player owned houses and such really make a difference. Im basically reffering to 2 moons, a free game with alot of the stuff requested by guild wars folk. With guildwars two these ideas can finnally be implemented as part of the base of the game.

5. Flying, Yeah i know.. an Aion ripoff but flying would be a Really good idea
for guildwars And i dont see how it would affect the game besides a few points.

5.1- Carthography- With flying I believe there should be a mix of airborne enemies and ground based. However to exploration is all about knowing what paths to go through and such and with flying the map would not be revealed thus forcing the player to walk for the title. Of course the people flying will get a gorgeus(Sp?) View of the area without the exploration points.
5.2- Walls and borders. For the borders of the instances, Theres already an invisible wall so it shouldnt be much of a problem. And for gvg's with Walls, While the gate is locked, a magical barrier preventing other humans to enter could go up as well thus still keeping the basic siege mechanics in the game.

6. A Central area for markets, PUG formation and etc. This is based on the very big detailed thread somewhere in sardelac. Ill just write a small part on the PUG formation part. The pug formation area would require a bigger Party search box to enter information in and a new drop down list that indicates what quest/instance/mission is being done. Once the team is formed, they click on the Go to area button which will take them to the area they formed the party for. For example im forming a party to do the mission Dasha Vestibule, Ill form the PUG at the PUG Island and then click on the button which willl take me to the Dasha Vestibule Outpost. The button however is essential as people will be less willing to use the PUG island due to all the map changing. With the button it will eliminate all the map travel.

7. The storyline. Just some creativity on my part but with some mechanics that could make the game really fun. With abaddons defeat and all we have defeated a god and you really cant go much higher then a god difficulty wise. How about a new villain that wishes to become a god. This enemy would of course have flying capabilities and proper wings to go with it and is amassing an army in the northern lands to attack the rift and the hall of heroes. The story could be about stopping him and could be spread about the three chapters of the series. For example in the final mission of GW 2- Chapter one, The good guys will attack his flying citadel that he is going to use to create his own portan to raid the rift but however he fails due to the good guys victory but still lives on and the expansion packs can be small stories about various parts of the war. This is really just a wacked idea but i figured i should put it in the list.

8.[COLOR=RED]*Edit*[/COLOR]
- A new pvp mode. 3 teams of 12 (Total of 36, Not sure if Arena net servers can handle it but would be really awesome.
- Three teams of humans compete to capture the citadel. Two teams are from the good side and the team inside the citadel is the evil team. The battle lasts 10 minutes in which the two good teams attempt to capture the citadel by reaching its core. If none of the good sided teams make it, the evil team wins. However due to imbalances (Obviously 24 vs 12 isnt fair....) the citadel (A castle or a floating city ) is built with many defences that make up for the lack of players on the evil side. The flying idea can be implemented with the good teams starting off on the ground and trying to fly to the citadel. The reward will be faction points and a token that can be traded in for items.

I dont know what to say about this... I want all these changes, but I dont wanna buy a completly new game... Dont you think this could be made in some kind of expansion which only upgrades the worlds that already exists?

Ahh yes 2 Moons...poor example there honestly. Pay for loot? Advertisements in game? Granted they can be turned off but still the fact that they are there in the first place just irks me in ways I can't even begin to describe.

Honestly what are you people going to do with a house in game? Hang out? put more crap there that won't fit in your storage? I'd rather just have more storage than a pointless money sink. The only way I would support Player owned houses in game is if they added a mechanic that allowed mean spirited people like me to come and periodically burn it to the ground. That would interest me.

It was just a reference to 2moons, the player houses was just an example. Besides that ive added another idea. And the idea behind guildwars two is really a new game is using the same base idea of the game but have a decent sized change for the next story arc.
